Dear KJA Member or Parent,

If you are receiving this e-mail, our records indicate that you or your child needs to renew or get a new XXXXXX) insurance card.  This is mandatory for participation in judo since it is a full contact combative sport.  Kokushikai Judo Academy is insured through XXXX and it is a requirement that our members have current individual insurance cards.

This annual fee is $49 paid directly to XXXX. Please see me at the dojo to fill out the form to renew or apply for the first time.  Having all of our members insured does protect everyone in practice and in competition.  This is not to be confused with health insurance.  You will still need your own insurance for regular health coverage.
